How to Fake Snow Effect in Photoshop- Tutorial for Beginners
Welcome to today’s fantastic tutorial.
Today I am going to show you how to create snow effect in Photoshop.
So we will be taking one simple photo and we will be transforming that photo into a snow scene or snow effect in Photoshop.
Today we are going to learn how to create this stunning photo manipulation and for today’s episode, we are going to use the same age which is sent by the Abhishek Abhi.
We are going to transform this dull and boring image into something like this.

Let’s get started.
So, today is planning is to create an image of snow effect in Photoshop so for this purpose we are going to use certain images.
First Step
First of all, we are going to create a background so using the layer mask we are going to blend all the images together to create this snow background.
Then we are going to place the boy in the scene and using the layer mask we are going to remove the parts of these iron pipes so that it appears like it is actually over there and these are submerged in the snow or Ice.
Thereafter we will change the direction of the boy to match the direction of the lighting so will be using the transform tool which we can access by pressing control +T or Cmd + T and selecting flip horizontally to change the direction.
And now the lighting of the boy and the background matches with each other.
Now we are going to add the snow to the scene.
So for this purpose, we are going to use the snow overlay which I have created.

Final Step
Now using the bear mask and the soft edge brush with the black colour we are going to remove the part of the snow from the face of the boy.
And finally, to make the scene more interesting, we are going to place the polar bears in the background.
Again using the soft edge brush with the black colour we are going to paint in the Shadows And by creating The Mask we are going to remove the legs of the polar bears to create the illusion of polar bears standing in the snow or the eyes.
And finally, we will create a stamped copy of all the layers by pressing Control + Alt + shift + e or command + option + shift + e.
And now we will apply the sharpening to the image by using the UN sharp mask by going to the filter and then shopping and then unsharp mask.
You can choose the radius you want and press ok.
And now our The snow effect photo manipulation in Photoshop is ready.
