Amazing Lightroom Tips and Tricks- 2 Must do Things During Import & Before Editing in Lightroom
Welcome to today’s fantastic tutorial.
Today I am going to show you 2 things which you must do while importing your images in Adobe Lightroom and before you start editing your images in Lightroom.
These two tips for Lightroom are very important and come in handy in many cases.
These 2 Lightroom tips can save you a lot of time and frustration.
- The first thing which you must do while importing your images in Adobe Lightroom is: –
You must go to the file handling panel and make sure you check the make a second copy to and browse the location where you want to keep a second copy of your images oh shoot.
This could be your external hard drive or a separate hard drive within your PC.
That way all of your images from a particular shoot will remain safe.
And in case something goes wrong you can recover your images from that location which you just selected.
- The Second tip for Lightroom is that before you start editing your images in Lightroom, you must rate your images or flag your images based on the quality criteria or composition criteria.
Suppose you have multiple images of the same shot and you are not sure which one you want to edit.
In that case, take a little time to analyse multiple images of the same shot, and rate them in Lightroom using 1-5 keys on your keyboard.
You can also flag your images which are the best as pic by Pressing the P button on your keyboard and you can press X on your keyboard to flat the images as rejected.
This little time can save you a lot of frustration later on in case you finished editing one image and later on realise that there is another shot which is much better in quality, composition and sharpness.
So these two Lightroom tips and tricks can be a life saver in many cases.
